About Alyssa Vega
Alyssa is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and adults. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loma Linda University and her Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University. She is also bilingual and provides care in both English and Spanish.
Alyssa has a special passion for supporting women and mothers experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, mood concerns, and life transitions. As a woman and mother herself, she understands the challenges of balancing family, relationships, career, and personal well-being.
With several years of experience as a registered nurse caring for children and families in high-acuity pediatric settings, Alyssa also enjoys working with children and adolescents, particularly those experiencing ADHD and depression. She welcomes men seeking mental health support as well and strives to create an environment where every patient feels comfortable, heard, and respected.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. She believes in listening to each patient’s concerns and goals while providing education and involving patients and families in treatment decisions, including medication management when appropriate.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and creating memories with her family.
