About Jackie Ramos
Jackie Ramos is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Renewed Mental Health Group. She received her Bachelors degree in Psychology in 2016 and her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology in 2024 from Vanguard University of Southern California.
Jackie’s personal journey as a first generation Asian American has profoundly shaped her journey to becoming a therapist. She understands the beauty and complexity of having a multicultural identity and the challenges in navigating cultural expectations and identity confusion. Jackie loves walking alongside clients in their journey of finding clarity in who they are, healing past hurts, and becoming the most authentic version of themselves. As a therapist, Jackie is passionate about fostering inclusive, affirming spaces where BIPOC individuals feel seen, heard, and supported.
When you meet with Jackie, she prioritizes creating a therapy experience that is tailored to her client’s specific needs. She incorporates her experience and training from a variety of approaches such as: Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems and Humanistic principles. Most importantly always remaining trauma-informed, attachment-based, and client-centered in her work. She is dedicated to empowering clients to lead their own healing and growth. Her goal is to create safety where clients can explore and embrace the truest and most authentic versions of themselves. She believes that clients are the experts in their road to healing, and that the therapist serves as a guide on their journey.
When she is not in session, you can find Jackie adventuring with her husband and her dog Milo. She also loves rock climbing, camping, reading, and trying out new coffee shops!
