About Sarah Nguyen, AMFT, APCC

Sarah Nguyen is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) who brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to her therapeutic practice. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in 2023, building upon her Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a minor in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton in 2020. With over seven years of dedicated experience in the mental health field, Sarah is committed to supporting children, adolescents, and adults in their journey toward mental wellness.

Sarah is passionate about empowering clients to develop healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, navigate conflict, and access supportive resources. She has specialized experience working with children and adolescents with mental health disorders, providing patient-centered care that is empathetic, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s needs. Her background also includes working in acute care and crisis settings, further strengthening her ability to support individuals facing complex emotional and psychological challenges.

Sarah strives to create a therapeutic environment rooted in non-judgmental acceptance, warmth, and support. She believes in recognizing the strengths and resilience within every client, while helping them develop insight, self-awareness, and confidence in their ability to create meaningful change. Through a patient-centered approach, Sarah works collaboratively with clients to foster growth, healing, and lasting well-being aligned with their personal goals.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys attending music shows, taking scenic walks with her German Shepherd/Husky, going on relaxing motorcycle rides, playing tennis, and spending time with those she loves.
